Big R receives the 2004 General Industry Division Award from the United Way of Weld County

Big R and their employees have played an active role in bridging the gap of those in need by contributing year after year to the United Way of Weld County. High monetary goals were set internally for 2004 and Big R not only met those goals, they exceeded them. Big R supported campaign efforts by providing a large array of gifts and prizes to be raffled to campaign participants and matched the total employee contribution in a corporate gift to United Way. A total gift of $10,208 was raised. In recognition of outstanding efforts among organizations of similar trade for the 2004 campaign year, Big R was presented an award in the General Industry Division.
