Big R receives the 2006 General Industry Division Award from the United Way of Weld County

Big R and their employees actively donate to the United Way of Weld County year after year. In 2006, Big R set a high monetary goal of $18,000 and exceeded their goal to present the largest check in company history of $22,688 to United Way. Big R supported fundraising efforts by providing a large array of gifts to be raffled off to campaign participants, threw a pizza party for top team contributors and matched the total employee contribution in a corporate gift to United Way. The enthusiasm and heart this Big R Team exudes in giving back to their community was recognized by United Way with a General Industry Gold Division Plaque.
