Something Old and Something New

The recent excavation for our fabrication shop expansion uncovered more than expected, when the complete skeleton of a horse was discovered.
Dr. Frederic Sellet, Ph.D., an Assistant Professor from the University of Northern Colorado Anthropology Department determined that the skeleton uncovered was indeed a horse which dated back from between 100 to 300 years ago! Big R Mfg., LLC, donated the skull to UNC's Anthropology Department as a reference specimen. Currently the department's collection does not include a horse of this age, and Dr. Sellet was very pleased to have received our donation due to its excellent condition.
