Big R Mfg., LLC has announced the appointment of Director of Engineering & New Product Development.

Big R Manufacturing, LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of David G. Rogers, PE to the newley created position of Director of Engineering & New Product Development. David graduated with honors from North Dakota State University, with a BSCE in Civil Engineering, Structural Emphasis, and brings to Big R Manufacturing, twenty-five years of structural engineering experience, of which nineteen years were in the prefabricated bridge manufacturing business. During his tenure, he has held senior level positions in Sales, Engineering, and Marketing. He has been the Engineer-of-Record for over 4000 bridge projects.

David has also held technical, sales, and management positions with the United States premier seismic isolation-bearing manufacturer. Recently, he successfully ran his own structrual engineering consulting firm, leaving the life as a single-owner entrepreneur to relocate to Big R Manufacturing, located in Greeley, Colorado.

At Big R Manufacturing, David will lead the Bridge Engineering and Estimating Departments, responsible for the modular-vehicular, rolled-beam vehicular, rolled-plate and pedestrian truss bridge products. He will also help lead Big R Manufacturing in the development of new products, which will augment our current bridge lines.

David is currently registered as a Professional Engineer in twenty-four States, and is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

He is married and has two college-aged children.
