Golf Course Underpasses
Big R Manufacturing can provide underpass structures in a variety of shapes that are used for golf cart grade separations. Virtually any end treatment can be used to match the appearance of the golf course.
Super·Cor® Box Culverts
Super·Cor® box culverts are available in spans ranging from 10' to 40' and can support loadings from golf carts to highway traffic. To keep the road profile low, Super·Cor® boxes are used for soil cover between 18" and 60". Two sizes frequently used for golf cart grade separations are SC-4B (13'-0" span x 7'-3" rise) and SC-12B (16'-11" span x 7'-11" rise). The rise dimension can be increased by raising the concrete footings. Lighting can be added to improve visibility.
Bolt-A-Plate® Underpasses
Bolt-A-Plate® underpasses are used when the soil cover is greater than 60". Bolt-A-Plate® structures can be manufactured in either galvanized steel or aluminum.

Bolt-A-Plate® structures can be manufactured in either galvanized steel or aluminum. This aluminum plate structure was installed under a railroad at the Willow Bend Golf Club in Wichita, Kansas.
